Mental Health Courses

Each year 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental illness. Many people are not knowledgeable or confident to offer assistance. Physical first aid is accepted and widespread in our community, however most do not cover mental health problems. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches people the skills to help someone who they’re concerned about.

Blended Mental Health First Aid with a mixture of online and practical elements for both individuals and in the workplace.

Our Mental Health Courses are presented by our trainer Ronnie Kakaire. Ronnie has a very strong passion for training and facilitating workshops with over ten years of experience. His energetic, engaging and yet entertaining style of delivering training has made him a darling for most participants that have attended his sessions. “This is the best training I have attended in 40 years. I would attend any training delivered by Ronnie again and again.” One participant revealed. Ronnie draws real examples from his personal life, from his experience working with Lifeline and Suicide Prevention Services and from his experience working overseas and also with various ethnic communities. Ronnie has amassed experience delivering blended training to corporate organisations like NAB, Australia Unity, Barwon Water, Productivity Commission, Worksafe Australia, Department of Justice, Department of Education, Tullamarine Airport, Victoria Police, Vline, QBE, Tribal, Universities and so many public classes. “Ronnie brings a lot of energy in the training and his good use of humor made the training interesting and yet still relevant” another participant wrote.
