Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is the application of chest compressions and rescue breaths to a person in cardiac arrest.
This 2.5 hour course is nationally recognised and suitable for all individuals who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of personal and workplace settings. The course involves a small online component, 1,5 hrs in a Zoom class and 1 hr face to face practical session. The face to face session occurs 10 days after your Zoom session (enrolments below) but can be changed by contacting the office.
Throughout the course you will learn how and when, to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), as well as how to complete a workplace incident form. Individuals completing our CPR course will also practice on both adult and infant manikins and be taught the key differences between treating the two different age groups.
Workplace onsite training is available to groups of 10 or more.
The Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) recommends that CPR skills be refreshed annually.
Participants of this course must be 14 years or older.
